We finally took the plunge and purchased vBulletin for our site forums. The transition from the old application was not easy, but the new vBulletin has a ton of features that will make it worth the wait and effort.
This will add a place for people to post their free themes and discuss general them making in a friendly open environment.

Last month we had two milestones, we had over 700,000 hits on the website and we crashed 10 times as a direct result of the additional load. So to handle this increased demand I have doubled the memory allocation and hard drive space. I also added several dedicated IP addresses to the account to channel the different services.
Of course all of these upgrades come at with a price so please consider donating to help support the site and keep the free Blackberry themes coming.

While scanning our AWSTATS for the website I came across an interesting referrer from Italy. I followed the link and ended up at an Italian Blackberry web site and was amazed to find BlacksBerry.com featured on the main page. Viva Italiano!

It goes without saying that today is a day I will never forget. I remember exactly where I was and what I was doing when the terrorists(cowards) attacked the twin towers.
Take a moment and think about the loss and grief others are experiencing today and remember that YOU should never forget.
On a personal note, after the attacks my guard unit was activated and I spent the next two years on active duty in support of Operation Enduring Freedom. I figure it’s a small price to pay for freedom folks. Dan Black
